This coming Sunday, March 24, 2024 is Palm Sunday. The Lesson is: "Triumphant Entry." It is one of my favorite subjects as we prepare for Easter Sunday (on March 31, 2024 @ 11:30 a.m.)
Jesus, our Elder Brother and Way Shower, demonstrates grace and courage beyond what could be expected of any human being under the circumstances of the political climate of His day. I believe that Jesus was never a victim; but was courageous and was very focused on His Spiritual Mission, what we call today, our "purpose." Even when He chose to enter the city gates of Jerusalem on the back of a donkey, which symbolizes arriving in peace, instead of riding a war horse, which would convey the message of a war-waging King.
It was during the Feast of the Passover and the streets were crowded with travelers of all ages, waving palm branches and joyfully greeting and singing in praise for the beloved Master Teacher and Healer that the crowds believed would free them from the oppression of the Roman Government forever.
During these final days of our Lenten Study Book: "Let Go and Let God, 2024" I would encourage you to sit quietly in prayer and meditation to open your mental and emotional nature to the great overcoming power of our Elder Brother, Jesus Christ. Know the Truth that you have the same overcoming power within you to meet any challenge in your life.
